Can you believe it?

Under 2 bucks! I honestly never thought I'd see this again. I remember the day it went above $2 for the first time. Driving to work in Lansing and shaking my head as I passed the gas station near my apartment.

Trying some rice cereal

Graham doesn't know what to do with this spoon thing. :) He's wearing most of the cereal. He'll learn soon enough... Hopefully!

Pooh bear crisis 2008

Shopping came to a screeching hault when Graham's Pooh Bear was missing in action. We spent about 20 minutes searching up and down Wal-Mart. Mom was freakin'! :) Pooh was found safe and sound on a shelf among other Pooh bears.

New baby gear

Graham got some new gear today. A high chair and a Johnny Jumper. He seems to enjoy both! Graham's growing up.

Dinner at Hoppers

Snow is here!

Just a few inches today but it finally feels like November. Katie made some awesome chili too which is the perfect cold weather meal!

Our new president

The world is changing... not many would have thought we would be here watching a black man accept the presidency. Pretty cool! Will he fix things?? Who knows!! Let's hope. It's Graham's first new president... and he won't even remember. :)

Watching Obama become president

We're watching the numbers roll in and Graham is watching... Baby Einstein. :) His first presidential election and a history making one at that. We can only hope good things come in the next 4... Good luck Obama!

2 hours later!

We just stood in line for 2 hours for early voting. Graham was a trooper in his Halloween gear. I can only imagine how long the line will be on Tuesday!!!

One of the amazing treasures of Buffalo is Ted's Charcol Hot Dogs. Lucky for us, there just happens to be one in Tempe. It looks the same, smells the same and tastes the same. They even have Aunt Rosies!!! It was amazing!

Quick visit from Emily

Katie's sis, Emily, was in and out like saurkraut but it was great to see her. It's the first time she has been out to Utah and the first time she has seen her new nephew, Graham. These pics are from a fun hike we all took up to donut falls in Big Cottonwood canyon on Saturday.

Don't stop here

In Salt Lake there are RR crossings all over the place because of the light rail system. If you're not careful you'll find yourself stopped underneath one at the wrong time. Just ask Jeff. :) He was driving, not me. FUMBLE!

The process in action

Covering day 2 of the Utah special legislative session being held to fill a $274m shortfall in the state's budget forecast. It can be sleep inducing at times but the end result is pretty darn important. It's my job to explain to people why they should care about what's going on at the capitol.

We picked Katie's sis up from the airport and headed out to dinner. Graham was a champ, just hanging out and enjoying the crowd.

Graham is snoozing while Katie shops in Park City. I was on Daddy duty, making sure GRY was good to go. I wish I had a stroller too, I could have taken a nap!

Hey... This is Graham Roman. I took Dad's phone and decided to post a blog. Me and Daddy chilled this weekend at home. Watched some golf and snacked on food. He's a cool guy. I wish he would stopping talking to me in a baby voice. If only he knew I was so advanced for a 10 week old. Anyhow, I gotta run. I have a diaper that needs to be filled. Later!

Chili = yummy

I hosted a chili contest at the Salt Palace. It was a fundraiser for a homeless shelter. I'll volunteer to host a chili event any day of the week... This stuff was freakin' good!

Butterfield Canyon

It's Katie's b-day!! She says she's 20... You buying it? The 3 of us took a drive up Butterfield canyon today, it's only a few minutes from our house. Katie has to go to school but we wanted to get out and do something none the less. It's a pretty cool canyon with some awesome views!! You can see Katie looking down one of the steep drops. We also saw wild turkey and some cows walking around. Can't wait to go back with our hiking boots on!

Another State Fair

We always have fun checking out the animals, freaks and food at the state fair. Bj and Aileen came along this year. Of course it was Graham's first fair!

You know you're fat when

A chair falls into pieces under your large ass. Ha! It happened to me on our back patio with Katie, Bj and Aileen sitting there watching me. This thing literally shattered into pieces. Thanks World Market!!
