Hiking To The Top

We finally got some nice weather and decided to take Mom and Sis to the Timpanogos Cave National Monument. We grabbed the Kelty (thanks grandpa Roetzel!!) and suited up. Graham had a blast!!! Mom and Ashley loved it but got their butts kicked. LOL! They made it though and it was all worth the 1000ft in elevation and the 1 1/2 miles of hiking (each way). By the time we checked out the cave and came back down to the bottom of the trail, Graham was sleeping in his carrier! He was wiped out.

I love the picture of Graham in the second-to-last picture. That kid was TIRED! Good thing he had a little pillow-thingy.

Yeah, I think the people at Kelty planned for exhausted kids with parents who just don't know when to stop. :)
how do you like the Kelty? Which model do you have?
We got this one as a gift: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2301479&fromRegistryNumber=83743594&product_skn=443082, not sure if we should keep it or get a different one...
I'm pretty sure we have the Kelty FC 2.0. Katie's dad got it for us. We love it!! Plus, Graham laughs the entire time (until he falls sleep.) We can't wait to use it more this summer.
